Could this be you?

The Configuration Specialist will partner with our Claims and Technology teams to provide accurate and timely configuration and maintenance of EZ-Cap, the core managed care and claim processing system as it relates to both contracted and non-contracted providers.  This involves utilizing configuration utilities/tools that updates mass amounts of data. We are looking for someone with an understanding of provider contract language and reimbursement methodologies as well as understanding utilization management.

How you can make a difference

• Assist in configuration of company applications based on business requirements.
• Develop configuration requirements document and obtain approval from business owners
• Plan and execute assigned configuration tasks within deadlines.
• Assist in system analysis, design, development, and testing activities.
• Provide support in developing, implementing and testing patch releases and system upgrades
• Develop and maintain configuration policies and procedures.
• Review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes.
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues in a timely manner
  

Skills for success

• 5+ years of experience in configuration of commercial and Medicare claims
• EZ-Cap configuration experience required
• 3+ years of knowledge and experience in researching and resolving configuration issues
• Prior experience as a Benefit Configuration Specialist or equivalent, ideally within a similar setting
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

Experience to drive change

• Ability to work quickly with great attention to detail
• Technical configuration experience
• Knowledge of all products and all types of claims
• Computer literate with an above-average typing speed
• Demonstrate superb verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to exercise sound judgment
• A low ego and humility; an ability to gain trust through strong communication and doing what you say you will do
