This role is integral to the Home Chef Customer Support team. Our Customer Experience Training Specialist is responsible for designing and conducting new hire training as well as ongoing continuous training. They will work with Team Leads and the QA Specialist to improve and standardize our current training program, surface areas of improvement among the team, and implement continued learning programs to address those. This will span the gamut from group training to individual training.
Design, Execute, and Monitor New Hire Training program:
- Design a standardized program for new hire training spanning over multiple weeks
- Create the materials and tracking system for such a program
- Conduct group training sessions as part of the new hire program
- Monitor the progress of each new hire through training program and be responsible for ensuring employee is ready by the end of training and surface concerns to leadership if needed
- Collect feedback from new hires and experienced staff to improve the program
Manage the Continuous Learning Program:
- Work with supervisors across the support department (and sometimes other departments) to collect and assess most impactful education and training opportunities
- Design and conduct trainings to address those opportunities and track metrics to ensure training was successful
- Proactively learn and stay current with new features and products to update learning materials and conduct training as necessary
- Organize training and exercises designed to improve team bonding, engagement at work, or personal development
Facilitate the Hiring and Onboarding process:
- Organize and provide all materials needed for in person interviews
- Work with IT and HR to arrange formal legal documentation and equipment
Qualifications:
- Must demonstrate consistency in High Performance of Quality Assurance scores
- Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field
- Prior experience in Customer Support
- Strong communication and organizational skills
