The X Company is looking to hire a Director of Club Operations to oversee, launch, and manage the X Lifestyle Club, a membership only co-working, fitness, and food and beverage club located inside The X Company’s national portfolio of mixed-use apartment buildings.  The ideal candidate is a data-driven hospitality expert who has exceeded expectations in building and managing operations in at least one of the club’s verticals.  This person is responsible for ensuring a seamless launch of The X Company’s premier club experience and the creation of enterprise-wide operations that delight our members, increase retention, reduce churn, and ensure financial and operational success of our clubs nationally. 

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a strategic roadmap to successfully launch the first X club in December 2020
• Create the internal infrastructure for club operations, including hiring, on-boarding, and managing local club management teams
• Oversee the financial performance of the clubs, including generating reports on the economic and operational state of the business and making decisions that optimize profitability and member experience
• Create and maintain an environment of exceptional hospitality and service for our members through enterprise wide operations and standards 
• Design operational playbook for future club launches
• Lead local club management teams to execute a member experience that is aligned with The X Company’s values and vision for the club

Requirements

• Significant experience leading operations in at least one of the club’s verticals (co-working, fitness, F&B) or significant experience in hospitality with a strong operational focus
• Previous experience opening and managing at least one of the club’s verticals 
• Demonstrated ability to create conditions for exceptional customer experience 
• Outcomes driven thinker who has a strong business aptitude
• Must have an understanding of accounting procedures and financial reports
• Experience building and managing a remote team
• Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills
