As the Director of Professional Services at ByAllAccounts, you will report to the CTO of Morningstar's Investment Management Division (MIM), with responsibility for building, and managing the ByAllAccounts Professional Services function for enterprise cloud deployments of the ByAllAccounts platform and solutions. The ideal candidate is a respected leader who has thrived building successful, high growth teams in dynamic environments. In this role, you will work closely with our Product, Sales and Customer Success teams to successfully deploy our data platform and solutions. You will develop a repeatable and scalable approach to implementation that drives adoption, renewal, and expansion. This is a senior role, requiring a unique skillset of technical savviness, client-facing proficiency and the ability to build and lead an elite team of Professional Services professionals.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with enterprise customers to clearly understand their strategic business objectives, and then implement solutions that are precisely configured to meet them.
- Oversee all aspects of customer deployments and solution upgrades, including integration consulting, custom development projects, UI consulting, and specialized training
- Build and manage a team of project managers, business analysts and technical consultants that specialize in delivering hosted, hybrid, and API deployments across all channels
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including sales, product, and operations to ensure coordination of overall delivery
Job Functions
- Build a professional services team with skills-based implementation experience
- Manage a team of consultants and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and with the highest quality
- Lead/participate in employee recruiting, training and development efforts
- Work with Product Management and Engineering to enhance ByAllAccounts data and solutions delivery
- Participate in sales cycle to lead conversions with prospects and customers around ByAllAccounts delivery
- Manage an organization that runs multiple simultaneous deliveries.
- Interact with all levels of customer organization from C level to individual developers
- Manage and set client expectations
- Manage client escalations and negotiate resolution
- Collaborate with customers on contract negotiation
- Manage department P&L
Qualifications
- Education -
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent preferred
Experience
- 10+ years technology consulting and/or technology management experience;
- 5+ years direct project management experience;
- 5+ years program management experience;
- 3-5 years cloud-based technology deployment experience
Required Skills:
- Solid technology foundation in the following areas:
- Cloud implementations
- 3rd party integration
- Big data and analytics platforms
- Financial Services and Financial Data Aggregation experience a plus
