Job Description
Responsible for executing and participating in information security assessments within fraud and/or other risk stripes, and supporting assigned team(s) with analyzing security data.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates team working groups, sessions and document meeting requirements, assessments, and any other artifact and deliverables as needed.
- Coordinates documentation deliverables for Internal Audit, the regulators, and risk committees.
- Executes technical, program or control assessments against defined assessment criteria, ensuring that DFS Information Security Policies, Standards and Controls are complied with.
- Drafts reports and formal findings as the result of information security assessments.
- Represents the department in meetings and cross-functional risk working groups to present assessment objectives or results and collaborates with business partners on initiative milestones.
- Reviews metrics, reporting, and self-assessments by other business areas to identify deficiencies and effectively challenges against program policies, standards, controls, and industry best practices.
- Demonstrates DMS principles on multi-departmental problem solving including root cause analysis, solution gathering and storyboard presentation.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Security and Intelligence, Information Technology or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Audit, Inspection, Compliance Review, Business Analysis, Application Development, Agile or Related
- In lieu of a degree, 4+ years in Audit, Inspection, Compliance Review, Business Analysis, Application Development, Agile or Related
Preferred Qualifications
