Responsible for executing and participating in information security assessments within one or more risk stripes.
Responsibilities
- Reviews metrics, reporting, and self-assessments by other business areas to identify deficiencies against Information Security Program Policies, Standards, and Controls.
- Drafts assessment reports and formal findings as the result of information security assessments.
- Executes technical or control assessments against defined assessment criteria, ensuring that DFS Information Security Policies, Standards, and Controls are complied with.
- Represents the Information Security Program Office in meetings and cross-functional risk working groups to present assessment objectives or results.
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here’s what we need from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Audit, Inspection, Compliance Review, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Audit, Inspection, Compliance Review, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Audit, Inspection, Compliance Review, or related field
