Reporting to Director, Operations Strategy, you'll lead across a matrixed operations team and partner organizations to promote process execution excellence.
What you get to do:
- Oversee the back office & fulfillment operations efficiency, effectiveness, & regulatory compliance for a growing Credit Card organization
- Inspire creativity that enables scaling of our new card product with an eye towards balancing business needs, customer experience, and risk
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce reputational, regulatory, or legal risk; rationalize outsourcing vs. insourcing opportunities; and, reduce customer friction
- Guide operational reporting enhancements to build and manage risk based monitoring and controls
- Manage communications and requirements across partners, including partner Bank, Servicer, & Network teams; integrate with existing bank partner management and audit support processes
What you will bring to the team:
- 3 years experience using a variety of process and risk tools, and the ability to apply an appropriate level of qualitative and quantitative assessment to a given problem statement
- 2 years of experience or familiarity with federal regulations under which Opploans operates; primarily the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), but also the Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices Act (UDAAP), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Lending, Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and others
- Strong skills in research, responding to partner & internal requests, working with legal & compliance support, and rallying teams to adopt workable solutions
