The Role:

higi is looking for a talented Office Coordinator to join the team and make it easier for people to live their healthiest. We are looking for a skilled Office Coordinator to undertake a variety of day-to-day office and clerical tasks. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and are successful in supporting other business activities. An excellent office coordinator is, above all, an organized and competent professional with phenomenal communication skills. You will be comfortable dealing with the entire team from Board of Directors to higi team and be able to carry out administrative duties with accuracy and speed. The goal is to ensure that office operations are efficient and add maximum value to the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist executive team with company events from calendaring to execution
  • Follow office workflow procedures to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders
  • Greet and assist visitors when they arrive at the office, maintain calendar
  • Assist in vendor relationship management (lunch and breakfast orders, stocking of snacks)
  • Assist and support with property tax payments
  • Data entry and updates made to the property tax database
  • Assistance with accounts payable with scanning of invoices
  • Main point of contact for day to day communication with building management
  • Main point of contact for team for all operational duties of the office
  • Assist in human resource related tasks, new hires, buddy and shadow program scheduling.

 Qualifications/Required:

  • Associates/College degree; BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field is a plus
  • 1 to 2 years of experience as office coordinator or in a similar role
  • Knowledge of property tax and office management systems and procedures a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office, “back office” and accounting software
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
