Neighborhoods.com and 55places.com are looking for an eager People Operations Office Administrator to provide exceptional operational and administrative support for our Fulton Market office. 

The People Operations Office Administrator will be responsible for various “back office” tasks, including but not limited to weekly essential financial, operational, and Human Resource duties to help neighborhoods.com stay a great place to work. 

The ideal candidate will enjoy wearing multiple hats, thrive in an environment with evolving priorities, and embrace being the point person for office operations. 

Confidentiality is a must in this position, as there may be sensitive information involved with special projects.

This is an in-office position with hours from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. 


Responsibilities:

  • Front office operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, clerical tasks, and coordinating inbound/outbound mail
  • Administer employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding processes and tasks
  • Maintain records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files
  • Provide internal customer service to employees
  • Execute Employee engagement and communication initiatives
  • Coordinate with building management and third-party vendors to ensure the office is safe and well-maintained
  • Order, receive, stock, and distribute office and kitchen supplies while being mindful of budget/cost.
  • Oversee administration of independent contractor paperwork and agreements
  • Schedule meetings, resources, and interviews, as needed
  • Order catering for small and large meetings, as needed
  • Special projects, as needed

  • Customer service skills
  • Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
  • High-level attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Email communication
  • Zoom video communication tool proficiency
  • Organizational skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.


Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in facilities management, human resources, or administration
