Security/IT Support Coordinator
Solstice is hiring an IT Support Coordinator to keep up with our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will be a recent graduate or someone in IT with a desire for continuous learning and passion for innovation. This individual will work and report directly to the IT Manager and will support over 400 employees globally. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
- Work within our IT help desk ticketing system
- Creating, maintaining, and testing organization-wide security policies, disaster recovery, and risk assessments
- Verifying the security of third-party vendors and collaborating with them to meet security requirements
- Assist in the maintenance of all software licensing, servers, security updates, computer upgrades, major and minor software upgrades
- Maintain the functionality of meeting rooms tech and cables/adapters
- Maintain an accurate and hardware inventory utilizing an MDM
- Maintain accurate and current IT inventory of licensed software
- Administration over office-wide systems and tools (including G Suite, Office 365, Rally, GitHub)
- Help coordinate technical projects including web conference, wireless, and audio/visual setup
- Imaging laptops and onboarding new hires to our software and systems
- Other related ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excitement for developing a career in the IT field
- Demonstrated aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction, but also in a team environment
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with internal staff and vendors
- Knowledge/experience with Mac OS X operating systems
- Familiarity with mobile would be helpful but not required
- Understand basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP
- Mac OS X, iOS, Android troubleshooting skills
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including the ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds in equipment
- Passion for providing IT support to employees
- Working towards or graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field
