The Role:

As the Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations, Lending Initiatives, you will report to our General Manager of Lending and lead the development of the next round of lending business strategy. In this role, you will lead mission critical, cross functional strategic initiatives to drive growth. This is a hands-on role and we are looking for a leader with the expertise in analysis and execution required to bring a practical solution to market.

What you'll be doing:

  • Conduct market and user research to inform and validate high impact opportunities for the consumer lending business.
  • Evaluate and prioritize growth opportunities for the consumer lending business with clear structure and analytical rigor.
  • Take ownership of initiatives, managing the delivery of the business case, strategy, timeline, risks, interdependencies and GTM strategy.
  • Collaborate with partners in Product, Marketing, Operations, Analytics, Legal and Finance to build and operationalize products with data driven and customer first logic.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience delivering strategic projects as Engagement Manager/Project Leader at Top Tier strategy consulting firm or experience leading/managing strategic projects in Product or Biz Ops at a high growth tech company.
  • High degree of proficiency in data and is skilled at developing data-driven business cases to support complex strategic decisions.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into concrete action plans.
  • Ability to clearly communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, effectively gaining buy-in from executives and peers.
  • World-class interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross functional team towards the common goal.
  • Versatile and able to shift seamlessly from big picture strategic thinking to detailed operations and tactical execution.

What makes you stand out:

  • Experience in the financial services/fintech/consumer lending industry is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver high caliber results no matter the obstacles or degree of difficulty.

Our company is located in the heart of downtown with great access to public transportation (both Metra & CTA), coffee shops, and restaurants. Currently our teams are working remotely for the foreseeable future.
