Primary Responsibilities

The Customer Fulfillment Specialist has ownership of creating and evaluating the account’s statistical forecast and supporting event-based movement related to promotional activity, new product placement, and increased points of distribution.  Additionally, the Customer Fulfillment Specialist will represent the KeHE supply chain organization to the account team and facilitate seamless integration between customer and KeHE order management processes & systems.  As with all positions at KeHE Distributors we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE’s Mission, Vision and Values.

Essential Functions

  • Develop a relationship where we are considered an extension of the customer’s supply chain
  • Key operational liaison between the customer and KeHE Supply Chain
  • Focused on accessing and understanding the customer’s internal system and looks to better understand how we can improve our mutual performance based on the tools available.
  • Deliver targeted results for all account-level performance metrics: forecast accuracy, outbound fill rate, promotional execution, inventory turnover, and spoils.
  • Partner with the appropriate demand planner to integrate account demand into the overall DC/item forecasted need
  • Monitor and manage promotional demand readiness and account execution
  • Utilize internal data to quickly recognize changes in item-level sales trends to drive a proactive response across the supply chain.
  • Lead and/or attend regularly scheduled meeting with the assigned key account teams to review performance to KPI’s, growth opportunities/ trends, plans for at-risk inventory, new business/SKU offering inventory status.
  • Provide data driven insight and actionable feedback to assigned key account teams regarding quality/accuracy of non-historic sales projections.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

  • 2+ years of experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering or related field preferred
  • Outstanding analytic skills with demonstrated success organizing, analyzing and accurately interpreting large amounts of data.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or sales support role.
  • Forecasting/planning in a high SKU, slow movement environment.
  • Prior experience using advanced planning systems such as JDA Demand, SAP/APO, Manhattan, etc. strongly preferred
  • Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills.
  • Capable of influencing & educating key account team on supply chain and forecasting success factors
  • Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction and performance to KPI’s.
  • Proficiency in using Excel, COGNOS, Access, Power BI and other similar tools.
