Description

The Tax Department is relied upon by all facets of the organization including sales, new client implementation, client support and finance. The Tax Filing Service is responsible for Tax Deposits exceeding $40 billion annually and filing 800,000 tax returns. The Tax Compliance Team is primarily responsible for balancing the Payroll system to the Tax System and reconciling variances for new and existing customers. Tax System Solutions helps to provide a stable system infrastructure and up-to-date information within the various tax systems to ensure compliance with taxing authorities, as well as providing customer support to our internal Tax & Compliance business partners.

Performance Objectives:

The below represents the primary responsibilities of the position. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

• Master various Tax Team data collection tools. This includes trackers and task management tools used across the Tax Department.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to Tax Team users.
• Research and troubleshoot errors as needed.
• Collection and analysis of data.
• Create ad hoc reports.
• Partner with colleagues in Tax, and other related areas (Service, Implementation, Finance) to ensure sound tax services and high levels of customer service.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science [business administration, statistics, mathematics, or any business-related field] preferred
• 0-2 years of experience
• Advanced to Expert level Excel experience required
• SQL Experience preferred
• Advanced database experience a plus
• Ability to work in fast paced yet detailed environment
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability
• High level of integrity
