Job DescriptionResponsibilities: Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Application Developer with demonstrated experience in R12 with demonstrated experience in Enterprise Asset Management EAM module.
The consultant will be part of an R12 support project. As a critical member of the technical team the EBS technical consultant will be responsible for all upgrading and designing of the customizations, extensions, and interfaces within R12.
The consultant will be work with the DBA and other technical and functional consultants to define, design and manage the R12 environment.
The developer will develop, test and deploy existing and new CEMLIs (customizations, extensions, modifications, localizations and interfaces) as needed.
The CEMLIs are based on Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher and include personalizations.
The successful candidate demonstrated expert level experience in the Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and related technology components.
The Oracle EBS technical consultant will be part of a team consisting of contractors and customer personnel.
Qualifications- 5 to 7 years of experience as an Oracle Applications Developer in implementation, upgrade and customization of Oracle E-Business Suite applications.
- Experience in Enterprise Asset Module EAM.
- Strong Understanding of business flows, underlying technical architecture and table structure of E-business Suite.
- Familiar with use of APIs for interacting with EBS
- Extensive experience in Implementation, Migration, Customization and production support for a variety of EBS modules
- Hands on experience in data conversion, data migration, report generation and developing interfaces with several modules in oracle applications
- Experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Technically proficient in RICE components
- Proficient with tools used to support Oracle Applications development including PL/SQL, OAF, Forms Reports, Workflow builder
- Experience in designing developing testing and turning database applications using developer tools (reports, Discoverer, Forms)
- Excellent skills in team collaboration, problem solving and good communication skills
- Good comm skills are a big priority
- Duration: 1 year at the current client and then this person will need to be willing to travel to another location once this project finishes
Maximum Expected Travel: Once the project ends, the next project might not be in Chicago, this is why they will need to be willing to travel up to 50%.
