The Maiden Home Sales Team plays a pivotal role in nurturing the customer through the sales process. Our team serves as the face of our brand to the customer, exemplifying our premium brand positioning and voice as well as our customer-first mentality.

This a remote location based out of Chicago, IL or the surrounding area.
Responsibilities

  • Generate sales through personal contacts as well as Maiden Home's current book of business to help achieve personal and overall sales goals
  • Grow the Maiden Home trade business with opening new accounts through outreach and networking within the design community
  • Travel locally and domestically for trade client consultations and visits
  • Offer friendly, timely, and proactive communication as an authority and resource for designers
  • Become and expert on Maiden Home's collection, including all styles, fabrics/leathers, design and construction details
  • Act as the face of the Maiden Home brand to our design community, mastering Maiden Home's voice across partner and customer communications
  • Plan and execute industry events and trade shows, as needed

Job Requirements
  • The ideal candidate should be located in Chicago, IL or the surrounding area.
  • 10+ years of experience in luxury design based sales, with an extensive personal book of business required.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals, collaborate and influence the sale
  • The ability to be proactive, take ownership of tasks, and identify areas of improvement
  • Outside Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a premium brand voice
  • Strong attention to detail and relentless follow- through in a fast paced startup environment
  • Outstanding problem solving skills; "can-do" attitude and resourcefulness; always willing to go the extra mile for the customer
  • Strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in Kustomer or similar CX software is a plus
  • Candidates must have a reliable car and a valid, current driver's license
