As part of our continued growth, we are expanding sales for two specialized service offerings:
* Event Alchemē – a structured, technology-enabled event management solution that provides planners with a customized portal to run events more efficiently and with greater visibility.
* Story Alchemē – a strategic content and narrative development service that helps organizations clarify their event messaging, attendee journey, and overall experience through intentional storytelling and content strategy.
We are seeking a driven, self-motivated commission-only Outside Sales Representative to generate new business through outbound outreach and relationship building with meeting, conference, and event planners nationwide.
Tasks
What You’ll Do
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound sales efforts, including cold outreach, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and professional networking
* Target meeting, conference, and event planners within associations, nonprofits, and corporate organizations
* Educate prospects on Event Alchemē and Story Alchemē services, clearly communicating value, use cases, and outcomes
* Qualify prospects, identify decision-makers, and guide leads through the sales process from initial outreach to close
* Maintain an organized sales pipeline and track outreach, conversations, and deal progress
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff once a client is closed
* Represent Conference Innovations professionally and consistently across all client interactions
* Meet or exceed personal revenue goals through disciplined outbound activity and follow-up
This role is 100% outbound and best suited for a true hunter who enjoys opening doors and building opportunities from the ground up.
Requirements
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
* Must be based in the United States
* Experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (event industry experience strongly preferred)
* Familiarity with selling services to meeting planners, associations, nonprofits, or corporate clients is a plus
* Comfortable with commission-only compensation and motivated by performance-based earnings
* Strong communication, outreach, and relationship-building skills
* Self-directed, disciplined, and able to work independently in a remote environment
* Confident conducting discovery calls and articulating value-based solutions
* Organized and consistent with follow-up and pipeline management
* Reliable internet access and ability to work remotely
Compensation
100% commission-based (1099 independent contractor)
* 15% commission on the total cost of each sold package
* Event Alchemē packages range from $169–$259
* Story Alchemē engagements are custom, typically starting at $6,000+
* Uncapped earning potential based on performance
