Part-Time Telepsychiatrist – Residential Adolescent Behavioral Health (North Carolina)

MindCare Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced Telepsychiatrist to provide psychiatric services for two residential treatment homes serving adolescent boys in North Carolina. This flexible supplemental opportunity requires approximately 2–4 hours per week and supports a total census of 8 residents (4 per home).

The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescent behavioral health populations and be comfortable collaborating with residential treatment teams to provide high-quality psychiatric care through telehealth.


Compensation: Negotiable

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management and monitoring
  • Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings and discharge planning
  • Communicate with families regarding medication changes and treatment recommendations
  • Complete peer-to-peer reviews as needed
  • Provide care coordination and consultation support to residential staff and treatment teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation within the EHR, completed within 24 hours of service
Qualifications
  • MD or DO with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license
  • DEA registration
  • Experience treating children and adolescents with behavioral health conditions
  • Comfortable providing services via telehealth
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Schedule
  • Approximately 2–4 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Supplemental part-time opportunity
