HIGHLIGHTS
• Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm (RSY), 8:00 am – 12:30 pm (ESY)
• Work in a supportive, mission-driven therapeutic day school supporting students with developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate daily with special education teachers and clinical staff.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group student support.
• Assist students with academics, social skills, and daily living needs.
• Training in Safety Care and CPR provided by Keshet.
• Opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families.
• Other duties as assigned.
About YOU!
• Passionate about working with children with developmental disabilities.
• Calm, patient, and confident in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to assist students with personal care, lifting, and transfers.
• Physically able to lift at least 25 lbs and support active students.
• Eligible for or able to obtain an ISBE Paraprofessional License (Sub license preferred).
• Previous experience with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of Judaics is helpful, but not required Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
