Job Summary & Responsibilities

The Utz Quality Foods Legal team is looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support our team primarily with litigation, but also with contracts, research, document management, and compliance work. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, collaborative, and comfortable handling confidential information in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be located within commutable distance to our offices in Chicago, IL or Hanover, PA to be considered for this opportunity.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support litigation matters, including document collection, review, discovery, production, and tracking.
  • Draft, review, revise, and organize contracts, agreements, correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Conduct legal research and summarize findings clearly and accurately.
  • Maintain legal files, records, databases, and contract tracking tools.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather information, approvals, and documentation.
  • Assist with compliance programs, policies, procedures, and related documentation.
  • Salary range: $80,000-$100,000

What You’ll Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Paralegal certification required.
  • 2–3 years of paralegal experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or related environment; litigation or CPG experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, processes, research, and document management.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential information with sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning legal or business systems.
  • Collaborative, service-minded approach with the flexibility to thrive in a changing environment.
