The Role
The Partner Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving our go-to-market success. In this role you will be responsible for collaborating with our partners to activate their sellers to represent our solution, and drive leads for our joint go to market mission. You’ll work with our partners to craft joint marketing programs including joint webinars, digital demand campaigns, and content creation. You’ll partner with internal events, demand generation and content teams to effectively make these work.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Strategy & Planning
- Meet with Origina channel sellers to understand our partners, their needs and preferences and the value they provide. Strategize how to best work with our partners to maximize our joint revenue opportunity.
- Work with our partner’s marketing team to jointly develop and execute marketing plans to drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline via events and digital campaigns.
- Align with partner sales and Origina’s business development teams to identify growth opportunities.
- Assess and build an MDF program for partners when the time is right. 2026 budget is €120K to be used for enablement and prospect events.
- Align with channel sales on partner productivity, coverage and other insights that can help support our coverage model decisions.
- Demand Generation
- Build and launch (leveraging Origina’s demand generation team and the partners demand capabilities) co-branded campaigns, webinars, events, and digital programs that generate qualified leads.
- Work collaboratively with the partner’s marketing team to identify, plan and execute events (with support from Origina’s events team) to
- Track and optimize campaign performance across partner channels.
- Partner Enablement
- Create toolkits, messaging frameworks, and content to support partner-led marketing efforts.
- Educate the partners’ marketing team on Origina’s value proposition
- Work with Origina channel sales team to educate the partner sellers on our joint value proposition and Origina’s specific value proposition.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for partners.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, demand marketing and content teams to ensure alignment.
- Measurement & Reporting
- Define KPIs and report on partner marketing performance, ROI, and contribution to pipeline.
About you
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with a minimum of 2 in partner or channel marketing
- Experience building joint go-to-market plans and executing demand generation campaigns with partners (you’ll have help to build and execute the campaign, but you do have to plan it by clearly defining the target audience, key messages and key call to actions.
- Experience building, managing and executing Marketing Development Funds (MDF) for partners.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software models.
- Strong understanding of different types of partnerships; their goals and preferences and how to work effectively with them to sell our solutions.
- Experienced in collaborating across marketing, sales leadership, field sales, and partners to enhance the sales process and improve team proficiency
- Demonstrated success in launching, managing, and growing revenue for commercial software products and/or services
- Excellent verbal, written, and public speaking skills
- Strong project and time management capabilities
- Experience in the enterprise software or IT services space.
- Familiarity with partner ecosystems (ISVs, GSIs, MSPs, etc.).
- Knowledge of IBM software or third-party support models.
