As a Lead Partnership Manager, Foundational Skills you will serve as Riverside’s expert and champion for our Foundational Skills portfolio, shaping how district partners discover, adopt, and expand solutions that help educators understand each learner’s strengths and support every student’s growth. You will guide districts through consultative sales cycles, elevate the impact of research‑backed assessment tools, and ensure the seamless experience that empowers educators and grows the potential of every student.

In this role, you will lead high‑impact sales opportunities, act as the primary resource for product‑specific questions and competitive insights, and drive collaboration across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer teams. You will deepen Riverside’s presence in districts by managing a healthy pipeline, strengthening existing partnerships, and supporting strategic engagement connected to Riverside’s mission to discover the unique strengths and challenges of each learner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary internal sales expert for the Foundational Skills portfolio, supporting product, marketing, and go‑to‑market activities.
  • Manage a robust pipeline of district opportunities for Foundational Skills solutions.
  • Lead consultative discovery to understand district needs and align Riverside solutions.
  • Present value propositions connected to district priorities, data needs, and learner outcomes.
  • Navigate complex district sales cycles from initial discovery through contracting.
  • Support CRM transition work, including movement of data from legacy systems into HubSpot and maintaining high‑quality data hygiene.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting with consistent pipeline updates and discipline around operating rhythms.
  • Expand adoption within existing district partnerships and refer additional opportunities to internal partners.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and product expertise to internal teams.
  • Represent Riverside at conferences, webinars, and district‑facing events.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to guide territory strategy.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to district leaders and internal partners.

RequirementsMust-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5+ years of successful EdTech sales experience managing K–12 district sales cycles
  • Demonstrated success with consultative, value‑based selling.
  • Strong CRM proficiency, including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into solution recommendations.
  • Experience supporting cross‑functional teams with product or go‑to‑market alignment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to senior district leaders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in foundational skills, early learning, or literacy assessment.
  • Experience with HubSpot or CRM transition projects.
  • Background in account expansion within existing education partnerships.
  • Knowledge of competitive landscape in early literacy assessments.

Physical Requirements
  • Remote
  • Travel 25%–50% for district visits, conferences, and presentations.
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of the range for this position is $70,000–$80,000 USD (base salary) with a competitive sales plan.This compensation range is specific to the United States, and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal pay ranges; and market data or range parameters.
