We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team in one of our offices (Palm Beach Gardens, FL, New York, NY, or Short Hills, NJ). This position is critical in providing backup and support to our current team. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional communicator, proactive and a quick learner. The role will require coordination of many projects simultaneously, so stellar organization skills will be key.


THE ROLE

  • Process US multi-state semi-monthly, equity and off-cycle payrolls for approximately 670 employees
  • Help with international payrolls as needed
  • Assist with employee questions on payroll and taxes
  • Keep up to speed with multi-state reporting and withholding requirements
  • Research and address payroll tax related issues
  • Assist with various payroll-related audits and surveys
  • Work on other HR/payroll related matters as needed

THE CANDIDATE

  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of multi-state withholdings requirements and ability to reconcile W-2 forms
  • Experience with payroll processing for equity
  • Workday payroll experience preferred
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle various projects simultaneously, as well as adapt to changes in project direction and priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively represent the firm in a professional manner

 Salary Range: $90,000 - $125,000 (salary range is exclusive of bonuses, benefits or other categories of compensation)
