Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for analyzing financial statements and preparing disclosures based on actual results, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Exhibits in-depth expertise within their discipline, serving as a guide for best practices and quality. Keeps up with functional developments, contributing to strategy and policy development, ensuring effective delivery within their scope.

  • Possesses strong influencing skills, capable of conveying complex information to diverse audiences. Provides support for less experienced colleagues, and may lead small projects involving moderate risk and resource allocation. Effectively communicates sensitive or challenging topics, building consensus, while continually improving persuasive abilities relevant to their field.

  • Develops approaches, initiatives, and programs within the function or business area, directly enhancing team quality, efficiency, and effectiveness. Holds significant input into team priorities and operates under broad professional guidelines, exercising considerable evaluative judgement with moderate autonomy.

  • Applies sound judgement to address moderately complex tasks or issues that impact the function. Adopts new perspectives on established solutions and leverages technical expertise in data analysis to inform recommendations. Integrates information from multiple internal sources and, where necessary, limited external sources beyond their own function to inform decision-making.

  • Partners with finance and contracting teams to ensure accounting implications of contracts are understood across the organization.

Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college with 8 years related experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in a financial controller or senior finance role.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.

  • Experience managing and developing small teams.

  • Proficiency in financial systems and Excel, SAP, and PowerBI

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $139,200.00-$208,800.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
