At Tribe, we're on a mission to help enterprises realize the value of AI for their business. Every large enterprise wants to use AI to transform how they operate — but many don't have the capabilities to do it. That gap is our opportunity.
We're an AI-native services company that helps enterprises build and deploy best-in-class AI products that deliver real business impact. We partner closely with OpenAI and Anthropic, giving us rare visibility into the most advanced models, roadmaps, and GTM strategies in the world.
About the Role
We're hiring a People Operations Generalist to own the systems behind how people join, grow, and move on at Tribe. We're scaling quickly and need an owner who can make our systems, processes, and programs scale as fast as the company does.
Reporting to our People Operations Lead, you'll own onboarding and offboarding, our HRIS (Rippling), benefits and compliance administration, and work authorization. You'll also support new people programs as we grow. This role is equal parts building and running—and as an AI-native company, we expect our internal systems to be as thoughtful and effective as the solutions we build for clients.
What You'll Be Doing
Onboarding & Offboarding
Own the operational backbone of onboarding — offer circulation, background checks, device ordering, provisioning, and the pre-start experience — for a new cohort every two weeks
Keep the onboarding experience improving as cohort sizes grow, from pre-start communications, through the first week, and beyond
Own and streamline offboarding, so people leaving have the resources and clarity that make their offboarding experience as smooth as possible.
Own and optimize our Rippling instance — configuration, workflows, integrations, and data integrity
Build AI-native systems and automation that make everyday work simpler for the whole team
Turn recurring manual work into documented, repeatable process
Support the build and operation of our people programs, including performance reviews, leveling, and recognition
Administer benefits and employment changes across a US PEO and EOR employment in Portugal and Canada
Run policy and compliance execution, including immigration and work authorization, so we stay accurate and current in every country we operate in
5+ years in people operations or HR operations, ideally at a company that built its systems as it scaled
Experience owning and optimizing Rippling or a similar modern HRIS (Rippling strongly preferred), including building automation that makes the system feel simple
High agency and a bias toward action — you pick things up, figure them out, and get them done
Strong, clear communicator who moves fast across teams with exceptional partnership
Energized by hard problems and by building things that don't exist yet
Multi-country experience with PEO and EOR models, ideally in the EU, UK, and Canada
Interested in growing into people partnering over time — with meaningful opportunities to support managers and expand your HRBP experience as we scale
Genuine interest in AI and how it's changing how internal teams work — you use AI tools fluently in your own day-to-day
Direct experience in people partnering or manager coaching
Immigration process exposure: H-1B transfers, PERM, or work permit transfers
