Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that align with our business objectives while ensuring a positive and engaging experience for our employees. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and pragmatic leader with strong communication skills and a proven ability to balance the needs of the business with the well-being and development of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Talent Acquisition: Manage the full-cycle recruiting process to secure top talent efficiently and effectively. Develop and implement recruitment strategies and processes that support business goals while ensuring a positive candidate experience. Partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and streamline the hiring process.
- Culture and Engagement Initiatives: Develop and implement initiatives to foster a positive and productive company culture that supports business objectives. Maintain clear and transparent communication regarding all HR-related matters. Support organizational development and change management efforts in alignment with business strategy.
- Performance Management for Growth: Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback mechanisms, and performance reviews, to drive individual and organizational performance. Provide guidance to managers on performance-related matters. Identify training and development needs that support business goals and coordinate relevant opportunities. Implement strategies to enhance employee performance and productivity in line with business requirements. Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions, with a focus on fair and consistent practices.
- Efficient Benefits Management: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance. Evaluate and recommend benefit enhancements that attract and retain talent within budgetary considerations. Manage relationships with benefit brokers and ensure adherence to all applicable regulations. Communicate benefits information to employees and facilitate enrollment and inquiries.
- Policy Development and HR Systems Management: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies in Notion that are legally sound and support business operations. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Oversee efficient employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Manage HR and people-related systems (Rippling, Lattice, Breezy) to optimize HR processes and data management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 4+ years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations, with at least 1 year in a management role.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, performance management, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound business judgment.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with employees at all levels while understanding business priorities.
