The Role:

As a People Partner at DailyPay, you'll be a strategic leader for our operations departments, acting as a mini-CPO for these teams. You'll be deeply embedded within the business, using your expertise to build strong relationships and influence leaders to champion our people programs, including everything from talent development and performance management. This role isn't about following a rigid playbook; it's about having the autonomy to design and drive impactful initiatives that matter to your groups.

Within the People team, agility is our superpower. To succeed, you'll need to be adaptable and comfortable in an environment that values continuous evolution, over structure and routine. You'll work with a wide range of client groups, with various leaders requiring various levels of support and coaching, so a varied background combining the BAU work of the HR function, alongside strategic growth initiatives - is essential. You'll also be a key partner to our People Team colleagues, collaborating on company-wide initiatives across Talent, DEI, and Total Rewards.

How You Will Make an Impact:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to senior leaders in the operations organizations

  • Lead the execution of people strategies and programs that directly support business objectives and enhance employee experience

  • Collaborate with leaders to design and implement talent management initiatives, including performance management, career mapping, and succession planning

  • Coach and consult with managers on a variety of people-related topics, such as career development, team dynamics, and conflict resolution

  • Leverage data and people analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making, providing insights that address key business challenges

  • Partner with People Team COE’s on company-wide initiatives related to talent acquisition, employee relations, DEI, and total rewards

  • Design and deliver targeted training to support organizational development and employee growth

  • Drive change management efforts and support organizational design initiatives as the business evolves

  • Champion DailyPay's culture, values & mission, ensuring they are reflected in all people programs and practices

  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure our people strategies remain innovative and competitive.

What You Bring to The Team:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably supporting the US and international countries

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and excellent communication, analytical, and influencing skills

  • A proven track record in HR, the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and the agility to adapt your style and approach as needed

  • Experience in employee relations and performance management

  • Substantial professional experience working as a Business Partner or similar generalist role

  • Comfort with data-driven decision-making

  • Able to commute to our NYC office 3 days a week
