Job Title: Personal Assistant
Location: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5 – Ralph H. Metcalfe Building, 77 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago, IL
Hours: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
Key Duties:
Provide personal assistance services to employees with targeted disabilities, supporting activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, eating, restroom assistance, mobility support).
Escort employee to/from building entrances, through security checkpoints, elevators, and various work locations.
Carry and set up work materials, assist with meals, and perform light office/administrative duties as needed.
Maintain professional appearance and conduct in all EPA office and public settings.
Qualifications:
Experience providing personal assistance services or similar support in a professional setting preferred.
Ability to perform physical assistance tasks (mobility support, carrying items, helping with clothing, meal assistance).
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Professional demeanor with ability to work in office and public environments.
