As a Pharmacy Consulting Intern within our Healthcare practice, you’ll aid our clients to evolve and adapt to the rapidly changing healthcare environment. You’ll have the opportunity to help our clients stabilize business operations today and create tomorrow’s growth by implementing revenue enhancement and cost containment programs, upgrading technology systems, creating stronger leaders, and improving outcomes for patients.
Intern Role & Responsibilities:
Our Interns join us from a wide range of backgrounds and make an immediate impact working as part of a team committed to developing creative insights, implementing, and designing processes, and driving tangible results. We provide access to the training and coaching you need while you work independently or in group settings to get hands-on experience in building effective relationships and creating solutions for our clients.
With a solution-oriented approach, you will collaborate with team members to critically think and problem solve to execute the implementation of effective processes and strategies for clients. As an Intern, you’ll spend up to ten hours per week across four semesters working various client project with your project team. In addition to client work, you will also get a chance to support the development and maintenance of various pharmacy consulting documentation and methodology which supports client work.

Responsibilities may include:
• Collaborating with internal team members during projects, including presenting key takeaways and communicating project updates
• Engaging with colleagues across the industry group to develop innovative and industry-leading methodologies that better serve our clients such as literature reviews and documentation development and maintenance
• Attending regular client meetings to identify and support clinical topics to present to both internal and client leadership teams

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Actively enrolled in PharmD program (2nd year)
• Strong understanding of primary literature reviews and clinical study evaluation
• Experience working as pharmacy technician in hospital (preferred)
• Experience working within large data sets Excel, PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Critical Thinking skills, easily able to adapt to change, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• U.S. work authorization required
