Lead a team. Shape a plant. Build a career.

At Scot Forge, we manufacture high-performance forged components for some of the most demanding industries in the world. With over 130 years of success, tremendous growth, and 100% employee ownership, we offer more than a job—we offer long-term opportunity.

We’re hiring a Plant Manager to lead our Franklin Park facility, a close-knit operation where leadership is hands-on and impact is immediate.

Why This Role

This is your chance to own a plant’s performance end-to-end—from safety and quality to delivery and profitability—within a company that values collaboration, stability, and results.

Franklin Park is a smaller, high-energy forging environment where relationships matter. You’ll spend your time on the floor, working directly with the team and making real-time decisions that drive outcomes.

What You’ll Own

  • Full responsibility for plant operations and P&L
  • A culture centered on safety, quality, and accountability
  • Consistent performance across production, delivery, and cost

Success means building a disciplined operation that delivers predictable results—not relying on heroics.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop your team while building strong engagement
  • Drive continuous improvement using data and problem-solving
  • Align production with demand in partnership with Sales (SIOP mindset)
  • Be present on the floor — removing barriers and making decisions

What We’re Looking For

  • ~10+ years in manufacturing, including heavy manufacturing environments
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results through others
  • Experience with planning, continuous improvement, and operational metrics
  • Financial and business acumen (P&L mindset)
  • Comfortable working with engineers on technical challenges
  • Must be authorized to work anywhere in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Must be able to pass a 90-day head hair drug test today

You don’t need prior Plant Manager experience—this is an ideal next step for a strong operations leader ready for more ownership.

Why Scot Forge

  • Employee-owned, stable, and growing
  • Industry leader in complex, engineered products
  • Strong safety culture recognized nationally
  • A place where people build careers, not just resumes

Ready to Step Up?

If you’re a hands-on leader who wants to run a plant, build a team, and make a lasting impact—we’d like to connect.

Compensation

The estimated pay range is the lowest and highest range we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, or any other form of compensation for any particular employee remains in the Company’s sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
