About this Role:
We are seeking an experienced Systems / Collaboration Tooling Engineer to join our IT Operations Infrastructure team. In this role, you will be a technical lead working closely with IT operational leadership to design and maintain critical corporate engineering applications and infrastructure. Have a lead role to facilitate and build automation necessary for scale to a 5 billion dollar company in the next few years and beyond.
Responsibilities:

• Coach and Mentor: As a Technical SME, collaborate with IT Operations and Leaders to through a growth mindset to enable the team through cross training, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration as a trusted resource and point of escalation.
• Design & Implementation: Administer and implement, to enterprise and security standards, SaaS enterprise applications common to companies in our space, including email, service desk, collaboration tooling, etc. Take a lead role in building or enabling both native and custom integrations; partnering closely with teams such as Enterprise Integration and Enterprise Applications
• Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts and tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Typescript, Ansible, REST API) to streamline routine tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
• Cloud Management and Access: Manage and optimize our public cloud environment, primarily operated in GCP and Google Workspace. Familiarity with SSO / SAML / SCIM and where access intersects with employee experience.

Infrastructure and SRE: Familiarity with common methods of configuration management such as Terraform and experience building and operating corporate IT infrastructure and working with network engineering team members. This includes exposure to reliability engineering, APN/NPM and troubleshooting infra, application, DNS, API etc. Issues.

• Security & Compliance: Maintain policy configurations and security best practices for Corporate Engineering applications, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and comfortable working with leadership and security partners. Familiarity with access attestation, change management, and participating in IT audits.

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience with design, development, streamlining of Enterprise processes using automation and technical enablement.
• Strong knowledge and administrative experience with collaboration tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, GitLab, etc.
• Strong knowledge in Identity Access Management working cross functionally to enable employee lifecycle management, including both processes (e.g.. new hire onboarding) and technology.
• Strong troubleshooting experience in both SaaS applications and branch office network environments. Comfortable working with and escalation to technical infra and app teams.
• Experience in areas such as network engineering, service management, and endpoint management is desired, but not required.
• Experience in Agile methodology and working in or with Agile teams.
• Intermediate programming experience (Python, Golang, TypeScript, Bash, etc.) with experience applying automation with IT operational / infra space.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English.

Compensation
Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

• For New York City, Washington, Washington D.C. and California (excluding Bay Area) based hires: Estimated annual salary of $122,000 - $149,000
• For Colorado based hires: Estimated annual salary of $111,000 - $135,000
