Who is Rainforest?

Rainforest is an early stage payments-as-a-service startup that has developed a solution that makes monetizing payments for vertically focused software platforms fair and simple.

We focus on small-to-mid sized platforms that want to add value to their small business customers through embedded payments — and want to do so without adding operational or regulatory burdens or costs.

Led by a successful repeat fintech founder with deep knowledge of the industry, and with venture backing from a Top 10 VC firm, Rainforest is well positioned to make an impact in the payments-as-a-service space, and we're looking for new team members who want to be a part of this journey!

The Role:

As a Platform Success Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' integration process is smooth and successful, but more importantly, you will help them optimize margins and revenue, guide them with expert go-to-market advice to increase adoption, and facilitate portfolio migrations.

As part of our Platform Experience organization, you'll join a tight-knit, collaborative team where no two days look alike. You'll be able to make a difference quickly, come up with new solutions, and build the kind of client relationships where you become the person they trust inside their org.

What Will You Do:

  • Guide and manage platform clients throughout the integration process, from the initial setup, to testing and deployment, and through go-live

  • Provide guidance and support to platform clients on best practices for payment processing, optimization of margins and revenue, and maximizing adoption rates

  • Partner with our client platforms to understand their business goals and objectives, develop strategies to achieve them, and serve as a key trusted advisor and advocate for enabling their payments growth and success

  • Analyze client data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

  • Provide expert advice to platform clients on go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and messaging

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams – including sales, product, and engineering – to ensure continued success

  • Monitor and report on key metrics related to client platform satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a related field, preferably in the embedded payments industry

  • Strong understanding of Payment Facilitator models (or PayFac-as-a-service) for vertically-focused software platforms

  • Deep knowledge of credit card processing and ACH processing, as well as interchange and interchange drivers

  • Proven track record of helping to grow embedded payments

  • High customer EQ and a desire to build strong relationships internally and externally

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Data-focused, with the ability to think creatively to overcome challenges

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We offer a comprehensive health benefits package, unlimited paid time off, paid parental leave, a fun and flexible working environment, and continuously invest in our people and our culture.

If you require any accommodations throughout the pre-employment process, please contact our HR team at [email protected]
