Project Coordinator, Project Management Office (PMO)


Rate: $22.50/hr + benefits (W2)
Location: Remote (must be located within the Pacific Time Zone)
Contract Details: 3-month contract with potential for extension

The Contract Project Coordinator is an entry-level role within the PMO, reporting directly to the PMO Manager with a dotted line to the PMO Director. This position will support PMO operations and assigned Project Managers in the successful execution of client’s engagements.

Responsibilities:

Non-client facing role

  • Support internal PMO coordination, tracking, and reporting activities
  • Assist Project Managers with backend coordination tasks, including status reporting, time sheet and financial tracking, data management across Smartsheet, ConnectWise, and document repositories, as well as resource coordination and scheduling
  • Coordinate and track non-project engagements, including staff augmentation, ensuring accurate resource hour tracking, billing alignment, customer invoicing, and internal reporting

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
