Job Summary:

Performs statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns.

Job Location: Remote

Main Responsibilities:     

  • Prepare, review, and analyse key performance metrics related to the IPG’s pet insurance activities for both internal and external users.
  • Assist in the preparation and aggregation of portfolio data and stakeholder reporting requirements and presentations.
  • Collaborate and consult with key stakeholders on the development of recommendations and insights resulting from fact-based data and metrics to influence and augment strategic plans, measurement, accountability, operational practices, and deliverables.
  • Interpret results of analysis; present recommendations to management, including alternatives and implications which are clearly linked to the organization's strategy and financial goals.
  • Conduct benchmarking and trend analysis to drive continuous improvement and optimise portfolio performance.
  • Create transparency regarding the status of strategic initiatives and portfolios to enable fact-based decision making by leaders.
  • Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of results.
  • Analyse the market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify trends to develop strategies and make evidence-based recommendations based on quantitative analysis to drive revenue growth.
  • Communicate analysis and strategies to senior leaders, analyse the effects that strategies have on performance, and work on projects that help IPG improve overall revenue and advance strategic plan.
  • Support the portfolio reporting and finance team with other recurring or ad hoc projects as needed such as country and brand portfolio forecasting, modelling, as well as other insurance analysis.
  • Participate in projects with your team on data analytics initiatives.

Qualifications: 

  • Experience:  3 years’ relevant
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (One-year relevant experience is equivalent to one-year college)

Level Specific Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes large datasets, identifies trends, and extracts insights to support decision-making processes
  • Develops and maintains data models and schemas to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
  • Builds and refines predictive and prescriptive models to support forecasting, optimization, and data-driven recommendations
  • Applies statistical techniques to analyze data and conducts hypothesis testing, when necessary
  • Implements data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity and reliability

Accountability/Complexity:

  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and seeks guidance on projects/assignments of higher complexity
  • May provide guidance and assistance to subordinate professionals and/or support employees
