We connect subject-matter expertise with practical delivery across cloud, cybersecurity, enterprise IT, and Microsoft platforms—including work on DoD Microsoft enterprise services.Role overviewWe are hiring a remote Power Platform Developer to design, build, and sustain secure Microsoft Power Platform solutions for federal and DoD customers. You will work across Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and related Microsoft 365/Azure services to turn complex operational processes into reliable, auditable applications and workflows.This is a hands-on delivery role: you will own features from requirements through deployment and support, not just dashboards or isolated flows.Key responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps that support mission processes, request handling, and operational visibility.
  • Build Power Automate cloud flows (and desktop/RPA where needed) for multi-step business process automation, approvals, notifications, and integrations.
  • Model data in Dataverse; implement security roles, business rules, views, forms, and solution packaging.
  • Develop Power BI datasets, DAX measures, and reports/dashboards that connect app data to decision-ready insights.
  • Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure services, APIs, and other enterprise systems using connectors, custom connectors, and approved patterns.
  • Support ALM: solutions, environments, version control (e.g., GitHub), deployment pipelines, and documentation.
  • Perform Power Query / ETL work as needed to prepare and shape data for apps and reports.
  • Troubleshoot defects across apps, flows, data, performance, and security; serve as a senior technical escalation point.
  • Collaborate with analysts, architects, program staff, and end users during East Coast core hours; gather requirements and translate them into maintainable designs.
  • Follow federal security, privacy, and configuration-management practices appropriate to a classified or controlled environment.
Required qualifications
  • Active U.S. Secret clearance (minimum).
  • Ability to work remotely from the United States and keep East Coast business hours.
  • 3+ years of professional experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse; Power BI strongly preferred).
  • Proven experience with both Canvas and Model-Driven apps.
  • Ability to design complex Power Automate workflows, expressions, error handling, and bulk/import-style processing.
  • Working knowledge of Dataverse security, solution architecture, and environment strategy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on a remote federal program team.
  • U.S. citizenship as required for the clearance and contract.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience supporting DoD, Navy/NAVWAR, or other federal Microsoft 365 / Power Platform programs.
  • Dynamics 365 (model-driven) experience; Ribbon Workbench or custom command-bar work.
  • Power BI: DAX, star-schema modeling, and production report delivery.
  • Azure integration (Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Entra ID / identity patterns).
  • ALM tooling: Power Platform pipelines, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-300, or equivalent hands-on depth.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, NIST, and government cloud / GCC / GCC High considerations.
