About the Role:

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly technical Platform Professional Services Business Consultant to join our growing Services organization. This role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to drive successful customer outcomes through our professional services offerings. You will serve as the technical authority in the pre-sales process, working alongside Services Sales Executives to scope, design, and align our platform services to meet complex customer requirements.

What You'll Do:

  • Technical Scoping & Solution Design

    • Lead technical discovery sessions with customers to understand their security architecture, deployment requirements, and desired business outcomes

    • Design comprehensive deployment strategies for CrowdStrike Falcon platform implementations, including endpoint protection, threat intelligence, identity protection, and cloud security modules

    • Develop detailed Statements of Work (SOWs) that accurately reflect technical scope, resource requirements, timelines, and success criteria

    • Create technical architecture diagrams and deployment roadmaps that align with customer environments and constraints

    • Assess customer technical readiness and identify dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies

  • Services Portfolio Management

    • Maintain deep expertise across CrowdStrike's professional services catalog, including deployment services, health checks, optimization engagements, and custom solutions

    • Identify opportunities to package repeatable solutions into standardized service offerings

    • Collaborate with Product Management and Services Delivery teams to evolve service offerings based on market demands and customer feedback

    • Develop custom service proposals for unique customer requirements that fall outside standard offerings

    • Create and maintain technical collateral, reference architectures, and best practice documentation

  • Pre-Sales Collaboration

    • Partner with Services Sales Executives throughout the sales cycle to qualify opportunities and develop winning strategies

    • Deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of CrowdStrike professional services

    • Conduct technical workshops and proof-of-value sessions to validate proposed solutions

    • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with detailed technical content and service delivery approaches

    • Provide accurate effort estimates and resource planning for proposed engagements

  • Customer Outcome Alignment

    • Act as strategic advisor to clients, aligning technical services with their business objectives and driving measurable outcomes.

    • Develop customer-specific deployment frameworks that balance speed-to-value with long-term scalability

    • Create adoption and maturity roadmaps that guide customers from initial deployment through advanced platform utilization

    • Identify opportunities for follow-on services based on customer maturity and evolving security needs

    • Ensure smooth handoff from pre-sales to delivery teams with comprehensive transition documentation

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Sales Engineering teams to align technical solutions with platform capabilities

    • Partner with Services Delivery leadership to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and resource capacity exists

    • Work closely with Delivery teams to validate services offering, ensure effort estimates remain current & continually review efficiency opportunities.

    • Collaborate with Customer Success teams to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts

    • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams on customer requirements and service gaps

    • Contribute to internal enablement programs to share best practices and lessons learned

What You'll Need:

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, professional services, or solutions architecture roles within cybersecurity or enterprise software

  • Deep understanding of endpoint security, EDR/XDR technologies, and modern security operations

  • Proven experience scoping and designing complex technical deployments in enterprise environments

  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems and deployment methodologies

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud security concepts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage both technical and executive audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Experience creating SOWs, effort estimates, and project plans

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with CrowdStrike Falcon platform or competitive EDR/XDR solutions

  • Background in security consulting or managed security services

  • Familiarity with ITIL, project management methodologies, and services frameworks

  • Experience with identity and access management, cloud workload protection, or threat intelligence platforms

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CEH, or relevant cloud certifications

  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS environment

  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.)

Note: This role may require up to 25% travel to customer sites and company events.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $100,000 - $155,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
