About Ubiquiti

At Ubiquiti Inc., we create technology platforms for Businesses, Smart Homes, and Internet Service Providers, driven by our goal to connect everyone, everywhere. To date, Ubiquiti has shipped over 100 million devices worldwide, from ISP networking products to next generation of IT solutions. Our growth is made possible by the dedicated team of hundreds behind the scenes. From software developers and product managers to designers and strategists, Team UI is driven to achieve our common goal: Rethinking IT. At Ubiquiti, you’ll heighten your potential and broaden your horizons - all while shaping the future of connectivity.

At Ubiquiti, pre-sales engineering is not a support function—it’s a strategic lever. You’ll work at the intersection of customers, partners, and product, helping define how modern IT infrastructure is designed, deployed, and scaled.

The Role

We’re looking for a Pre-Sales Engineer who thrives in ambiguity, thinks in systems, and enjoys turning complex, real-world problems into simple, scalable solutions. You’ll work across Ubiquiti’s expanding ecosystem—including routing, switching, security, SD-WAN, cameras, and access control—partnering with enterprise customers, MSPs, and internal teams to design architectures and influence product direction. This is not a traditional, script-driven sales engineering role. You’ll be expected to operate with autonomy, challenge assumptions, and contribute to how UniFi evolves—not just how it’s sold.

What You'll Do

  • Own problem discovery and design scalable solutions across networking and physical security, even when requirements are unclear
  • Create presentations, demos, and training content that translate complex systems into clear, compelling narratives
  • Translate customer and partner needs into structured, actionable feedback that informs product direction
  • Scale the Partner Program by onboarding new MSPs/SIs and growing existing partners through repeatable, high-quality deployments
  • Support both inbound opportunities and proactive outbound engagement with high-potential customers and partners
  • Build and maintain lab environments to test, validate, and refine real-world solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Routing, Switching, and SD-WAN is strongly preferred.
  • Embraces AI and LLMs to scale learning, problem-solving, and creative output efficiently
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for both technical and executive audiences
  • Strategic and systems-oriented thinker who can connect individual problems to broader patterns and solutions
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while engaging with a high volume of customers and partners
  • Up to 10% travel required for trade shows, events, and on-site projects

Benefits

  • Latest Ubiquiti gear to build and maintain a home lab
  • Fully paid, high-coverage medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Opportunity to directly influence products used by millions worldwide
  • Flexible, hybrid work environment

Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000
