Analyze market and live data to set dynamic ticket prices using Uptick, build strategic pricing recommendations, communicate with clients about strategy and performance, and collaborate with BI and engineering to improve product performance.
Automatiq is looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our industry leading Full Service Pricing department! Using your experience and pricing expertise, you will analyze markets and price ticket inventory positions across a variety of events using our intelligent dynamic pricing software, Uptick. As a Pricing Analyst, you will communicate closely with clients, acting as their main point of contact within the Automatiq organization. In this critical role, you will report directly to the Pricing Manager and indirectly to the Sr. Director of Full Service Pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze markets, historicals, and live data in order to price inventory effectively for clients using Automatiq’s proprietary software
- Conduct detailed market research to help build strategic pricing recommendations for clients
- Communicate with clients effectively to discuss strategy, preferences, and account performance
- Work closely with the business intelligence and software development teams to improve product performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Management, Finance, or Economics strongly preferred
- 1+ years in an analytical or pricing role
- Strong financial, analytical and mathematical skills
- Sports and entertainment knowledge strongly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including verbal & written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in a fast paced environment
- A team player with a positive attitude and a desire to deliver the best customer experience possible
- Prior experience in the ticketing industry or using Automatiq’s uptick platform is a plus
- Occasional availability to work non-standard hours and weekend days required
- Fully remote opportunity (must work off of Eastern time zone)
