ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Pricing Strategy Lead, you will be instrumental in guiding strategic pricing decisions and enhancing pricing and quoting operations across the company. Sitting in the Deal Desk function, the Pricing Strategy team continuously evolves and enhances our existing pricing structures and schemas to keep up with the ever-evolving demands of the fintech landscape. You will engage with multiple areas of the business, providing reporting, analysis, and insights that support data-driven decision-making and business growth. Your ability to be creative, collaborate, and drive projects forward will be crucial to your success. 

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek opportunities to optimize pricing strategies for both Apex and our clients; collaboration across procurement and partnerships to drive enhanced unit economics with key vendors.
  • Product packaging and positioning: Identify and implement new pricing presentations and bundles to prospective buyers and clients while incorporating a growing set of new products to our existing offering.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders across the firm.
  • Financial Modeling: Support the development of creative pricing arrangements, financial models, and budgets to align with firm revenue and profitability initiatives and strategic goals. 
  • Proposal Creation: Assist in responding various requests for proposals specific to pricing strategies; understand profitability drivers and leverage to then prepare pricing quotes and contractual proposals.
  • Insight Presentation: Monitor and evaluate pricing performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • DealHub Management: Lead the management and administration of DealHub, our CPQ (configure, price, quote) tool; support long-term product enhancements for addition of new products, pricing schemas, and business lines.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and consistency across all data and reports, specifically pipeline revenue reporting and expected opportunity sizing; implementing best practices in data management and usage. 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • 8+ years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue modeling, or a similar role in fintech, SaaS, or other fast-paced industries.
  • Experience in solving complex business challenges and adapting to evolving market trends.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, with experience developing creative pricing frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Working knowledge of CPQ tools like DealHub or similar platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

Work Envrionment

  • This job operates in a hybrid, office environment 3 days per week.

Salary Range

$99,200-$124,000

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
