Job Description
The Principal Design Strategist is a pivotal leader in advancing the design thinking and strategic capabilities within the Global Digital team. You are identifying transformative opportunities and solutions through multi-day workshops, collaborating with senior executives, identifying new business opportunities, and synthesizing research into actionable strategies. This role demands a dynamic individual with a strong mix of facilitation, analysis, and design expertise to solve complex business challenges and influence at the highest levels of the organization.
The Global Enterprise Design practice is entering an exciting period of growth. You are assuming a leadership role in developing strategic partnerships across our key business functions and partners.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Thinking Workshops: Plan, structure, and facilitate multi-day immersive design thinking workshops for cross-functional teams and senior leaders. Guide teams through ideation, prototyping, and strategic alignment exercises to address complex challenges.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive stakeholders to understand objectives, align on outcomes, and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring design solutions are aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Business Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Analyze business challenges and opportunities through qualitative and quantitative methods. Identify and prioritize strategic initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance value delivery.
  • Research and Synthesis: Lead user research, stakeholder interviews, and industry awareness to gather insights. Synthesize data into clear, actionable strategies and frameworks to inform decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with core Digital teams across product, engineering, data sciences, IT and business partners to ensure strategies are executable and impactful. Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes co-creation and innovation.


Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in design strategy, business design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience facilitating design thinking workshops and engaging with senior executives.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to analyze complex systems to identify opportunities.
  • Exceptional skills in research, synthesis, and storytelling to influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like Miro, Figma, or similar platforms is a plus.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$137,400.00 - $171,700.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
