Ensure successful completion of architecture solutions, designs, PoCs, and technology evaluations on-time and within budget. Manage architecture solutions and designs for Cat Digital initiatives, ensuring accurate document preparation. Guide cross-functional teams in project execution using software engineering knowledge and business acumen. Oversee multiple short-term projects, communicate project status to stakeholders, and manage stakeholder expectations. Define project scope with success indicators, use Agile methodology, and provide regular updates. Create and manage dependencies, log and mitigate risks, and work with system architects. Oversee planning, organization, and implementation of complex digital projects, including day-to-day activities, schedules, and contingency plans. Ensure adherence to quality standards, develop tactical plans, and report to the project management team. Conduct cost-benefit analysis, track costs, and help others with project administration software. Monitor progress, generate variance analysis reports, and evaluate past decisions for insights. Advise on data analysis, prepare cost-benefit analyses, and oversee data-gathering initiatives. Review and verify data accuracy, track software quality issues, and support end users. Use Gantt and PERT/CPM charts to report progress, conduct progress meetings, 'and control quality standards. Align technical objectives with functional requirements, build IT templates, and participate in IT infrastructure design. Identify critical issues, generate status reports for senior management, and execute IT projects based on procedures. Conduct performance reviews on technical applications or IT projects. Telecommuting: 3 days/week.
REQS: This position requires a Bachelor's, degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Program Manager, Product Owner, Software Developer/Engineer or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Agile methodology certifications; (2) Scrum and Lean methodologies; (3) Roadmap and Project management; and (4) Azure DevOps.
