About the Job:

As LaunchDarkly’s Principal GTM Recruiter, you will be a strategic owner of one of Company’s most critical talent disciplines: Account Executives and Revenue Leadership. You will lead and evolve our hiring strategy for this population, operate as a trusted advisor to senior Sales and GTM leaders, and own full-lifecycle recruiting for high-impact roles globally.

This is a principal-level individual contributor role with broad influence. Beyond delivering results on your own searches, you will provide thought leadership on sales recruiting strategy, optimization, and capability-building across the Global Talent team.

Responsibilities:
  • Own full-cycle recruiting for Account Executive and Sales Leadership roles while offering coaching and thought leadership in this domain globally. Partner with, inspire and peer coach other TA team members in pursuit of the best GTM talent worldwide
  • Lead AE hiring strategy, success profiles, and assessment approaches across LaunchDarkly
  • Partner with Manager Global GTM Recruiting  on workforce planning and talent strategy, specifically as it relates to our AE hiring and upcoming needs
  • Design top-of-funnel sourcing strategies and maintain warm pipelines for requisitions while leading sourcing strategy and efforts across the global GTM organization
  • Use recruiting data to optimize hiring outcomes for yourself and your peers
  • Report up on challenges and blockers, see around corners and predict outcomes so solutions can be implemented quickly
  • Champion and share a differentiated, high-touch candidate experience
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years recruiting experience with 5+ years in dedicated AE/Sales Leadership recruiting
  • Proven competencies and experience to act as a Lead for the AE recruiting function
  • Experience scaling Sales teams in high-growth, pre-IPO SaaS companies
  • Expertise in pipeline management, sourcing, and closing senior talent
  • Ability to assess sales competencies and coach hiring managers
  • Proven consultative influence with senior stakeholders

Pay:

Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 5: 

  • Zone 1: San Francisco/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle - $171,000 - $235,000 **
  • Zone 2: Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago - $154,000 - $211,000**
  • Zone 3: All other US locations - $145,000 - $200,000**

LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

*Within the United States, our geographic pay zones are defined by counties surrounding major metropolitan areas.
**Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), health, vision, and dental insurance, and mental health benefits in addition to salary.
