JOB SUMMARY: As a Principal Java Engineer, you will formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications, to work as part of a team with influence across a larger organization

 

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for producing stable and high performing applications
  • Work in Agile methodologies and contribute toward the entire lifecycle of a user story with particular emphasis on coding, unit testing and deployment pipeline automation
  • Research and learn new technologies and processes as part of continuous improvement
  • Contribute towards fostering a high performant and self-organized team
  • Clearly communicate potential and real issues to the team and propose solutions to resolve them
  • Mentor junior software engineers on the team
  • Be a champion of Claritev's core culture; ACTS – (Accountability, Continuous Improvement, Teamwork and Service Excellence)
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements
Preferred Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • 10+ years of progressive software experience in relevant technologies
  • 4+ years of experience in the design of complex service-oriented systems
  • Computer related bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Mandatory:

  • Desirable:

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $130 - 140K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
