We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) professional to drive reliability and secure software development across all critical applications in the Digital Consumer Engineering organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and seamless operation of our digital consumer platforms. This role will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, system reliability, and security, ultimately contributing to our business growth and resilience.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy:
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement with a focus on improving stability, security and supportability of all digital properties
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to integrate best practices into all aspects of our products and platforms
  • Find new ways to apply AI to security and reliability

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):
  • Ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of our systems through proactive risk threat modeling and mitigation
  • Implement automation to reduce manual tasks and enhance operational efficiency
  • Utilize key metrics (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs) to continuously improve system reliability and performance and prioritize work to improve the resilience and security of our most critical customer journeys

Security Operations (SecOps):
  • Apply engineering to proactive threat detection and response to identify and mitigate security threats in real-time
  • Foster collaboration between enterprise security, application teams, operations, and SREs to innovate and improve our proactive prevention capabilities
  • Leverage automated security tools and processes to ensure consistent and robust protection across all systems

Technology Operations (TechOps):
  • Ensure the stability, scalability, and resilience of our technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network operations
  • Develop and maintain robust processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and maintenance
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, optimizing processes and accelerating technology delivery

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience in AWS cloud software engineering, site reliability engineering and/or security or technology operations
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategies in a global digital consumer environment
  • Proven solid knowledge of infrastructure management, system monitoring, incident response, software engineering, and security frameworks at scale
  • Demonstrated history of remediating technology infrastructure issues at root cause
  • Experience with operational and security tools and technologies (e.g., monitoring systems, automation tools, SIEM, IDS/IPS)
  • Proven excellent communication, influence, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple high priorities situations simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience with Azure and/or GCP Cloud
  • Vendor relationship management experience
  • Residence in (or willingness to relocate to) the Minneapolis area

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
