Job Summary
The Privacy Manager will have responsibility for supporting Chamberlain’s Head of Global Privacy and Compliance to ensure that Chamberlain handles data responsibly and in compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. The Privacy Manager will work collaboratively across multiple teams, business units, and jurisdictions to help coordinate the Privacy compliance framework.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work closely with the Head of Global Privacy and Compliance to advance Chamberlain’s privacy strategy and execute the privacy roadmap
Driving the execution and continuous improvement of internal privacy compliance projects, initiatives, policies, and procedures, including handling related documentation and reporting
Supporting development and continuous improvement of standardized privacy compliance resources and tools for use across the business
Assisting with development, updating, and execution of privacy awareness and compliance training
Manage day-to-day activities of the privacy program
Own and project manage cross functional privacy compliance projects
Support privacy compliance audits/reviews and oversee remediation activities across the organization
Communicate program and project progress, escalations, and issues to key Chamberlain Group stakeholders
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Focus in business, law, cybersecurity, information systems, engineering, data science or related field of study
One or more privacy certification required (CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPT or CIPM)
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in the field of privacy, data governance, or consulting with a focus on comprehensive privacy program management.
Knowledge of global privacy and regulatory frameworks, such as GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, HIPAA, or other privacy laws and regulations
Experience with different privacy frameworks, including GAPP and NIST
Familiarity with OneTrust is a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Substantive understanding of data privacy, technology, and related terminology
Ability to exercise good judgment and balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations

The pay range for this position is $102,600.00 - $193,425.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
