Job Overview

Procurement Analysts are responsible for RXO network optimization.  Procurement Analysts support our customer & carrier teams by identifying network opportunities and devising procurement strategies that optimize RXO's dedicated asset solutions.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

  • Serve as analytical consultant and coordination point for procurement activities.
  • Work closely with capacity source and pricing team to develop opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Understand RXO system constraints and requirements for continuous improvement within internal systems.
  • Analyze RXO carrier network to understand lane/corridor density and sparsity.
  • Analyze RXO customer network to identify opportunities for RXO network capacity.
  • Determine optimized pricing strategy on behalf of RXO dedicated solutions.
  • Assist in customer award validation and onboarding with carrier relations teams.
  • Responsible for customer and carrier contract management uploads via formal and informal bid events
  • Develop methods of measuring and reporting procurement effectiveness.

Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience:

  • Basic Excel capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively execute tasks and communicate to necessary stakeholders
  • 1 year industry experience

Compensation for this role is $45,000-$55,000. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
