Job Title:

Procurement Analytics Associate, Data Centers

Company:

Prologis

A day in the life

As a Procurement Analytics Associate, Data Centers at Prologis, you partner closely with Data Center Procurement and Development teams to bring structure, visibility, and insight to data center procurement programs.

Your day centers on creating clarity from complexity. You aggregate and structure procurement data – including purchase orders (POs), equipment schedules, supplier production timelines, and submittal documentation – to provide real-time visibility into cost, schedule, and risk. You transform raw supplier and project data into actionable dashboards, reporting, and insights that support informed decision-making and protect critical path milestones.

A core focus of the role is supporting Owner-Furnished Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment programs. You track equipment from submittal through manufacturing, factory acceptance testing (FAT), shipment, delivery, and site readiness alignment. You proactively identify schedule risks, flag gaps, and provide early-warning reporting to ensure procurement activities remain aligned with project timelines.

In addition, you support purchase order execution and tracking to ensure accuracy, compliance, and status transparency. While analytics and reporting are central to the role, you also serve as a key operational partner – coordinating across suppliers and construction teams to maintain disciplined document control and procurement governance.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement Operations & Analytics, you are a key contributor within the Global Procurement Organization. You are recognized for your analytical rigor, attention to detail, and ability to connect procurement data to broader project outcomes. You think beyond the numbers – identifying risks early, improving transparency, and strengthening execution across the data center portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Build and maintain procurement analytics dashboards to track data center equipment cost, schedule, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Manage, execute, and track purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with procurement policies.
  • Develop and maintain structured submittal tracking logs by project and equipment category.
  • Track submittal status, review comments, and approvals in coordination with construction teams.
  • Escalate delayed or incomplete submittals and ensure document control alignment with Prologis standards.
  • Develop and maintain production tracking dashboards for OFCI equipment, including key milestones such as manufacturing start, FAT, shipment, delivery, and site readiness alignment.
  • Conduct supplier status check-ins and monitor manufacturing progress to identify risks to schedule.
  • Provide early-warning reporting and structured risk summaries to support proactive decision-making.
  • Maintain centralized procurement and equipment tracking repositories to support portfolio-level visibility and benchmarking.
  • Attend weekly OFCI coordination calls and supplier meetings as needed; document meeting notes, action logs, and track open items to closure.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance procurement analytics processes, reporting consistency, and data governance practices across the data center portfolio.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience in analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and synthesize complex procurement, production, and schedule data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience managing purchase orders and tracking supplier performance or manufacturing schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify risks within procurement and production timelines.
  • Comfort operating in environments with competing priorities, ambiguity, and evolving program requirements.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and sound judgment when forming recommendations or escalating risks.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience supporting data center, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with OFCI equipment programs and long-lead manufacturing environments.
  • Experience building cost benchmarking or production tracking dashboards at the project or portfolio level.

Hiring Salary Range of: $79,000 - $125,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate’s location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
