Orca’s vision is to build a financial system that puts people first. We envision a future where the majority of global financial transactions are driven by CLAMMs and other Decentralized Finance (DeFi) products. Our ambition reaches beyond becoming the leading provider of financial primitives in crypto—we aim to reshape the foundation of finance itself. We are building the next NASDAQ. If you are someone who is tired of just working another job and wants to build something meaningful, then we invite you to join our team.

We’re hiring a Product Analyst to act as analytical partner within Product Insights, a cross-functional team that combines user research and quantitative product analytics.

You will reduce ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and ensure product strategy translates into clear, measurable outcomes. Your impact will be measured by the quality of decisions you enable - not the volume of artifacts you produce.

This is not a reporting or dashboard factory role. It is a decision-shaping role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Synthesize quantitative findings into clear, user-centered narratives that explain behavior, illuminate underlying drivers, and inform product direction.

  • Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, including alignment, hypothesis formation, methodology design, execution, and clear communication of implications.

  • Frame analysis around specific decisions, tradeoffs, and high-signal metrics that materially inform product direction.

  • Apply sound judgment in evaluating analytical opportunities based on importance, urgency, and impact, choosing the appropriate level of rigor without over-analysis or performative complexity.

  • Deliver clear signal and actionable recommendations, drilling into meaningful drivers while avoiding noise.

  • Partner early with cross-functional stakeholders to refine problem framing, align on analytical goals, surface hidden assumptions, and ensure insights meaningfully inform product decisions.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking, proactive communication, and active listening beyond explicit requests, translating ambiguity into clearly defined analytical problems.

  • Operate with high ownership, curiosity and autonomy, demonstrating strong judgment in prioritization and quality of execution.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years in product analytics or data roles within a fast-moving, ambiguous environment, with clear examples of influencing product direction.

  • Experience leading end-to-end analytical initiatives — from problem framing and hypothesis design to execution and decision-ready recommendations.

  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous product questions into clearly defined analytical problems tied to specific decisions and measurable outcomes.

  • Demonstrated impact on roadmap prioritization or product strategy through high-signal insights (not just reporting).

  • Fluency in funnel, cohort, retention, and experiment analysis, with sound judgment on when to go deep vs. when to move fast.

  • Acting as a thought partner, closely collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering to align early on goals and ensure insights meaningfully inform decisions and create business impact.

  • High ownership and autonomy, with strong prioritization discipline and a bias toward clarity over complexity.

  • Demonstrated proactive ownership by surfacing analytical questions before they are formally requested, clarifying ambiguity, and independently driving them toward structured, decision-relevant outcomes.

Bonus: Experience in crypto or DeFi.

What Orca offers

  • Salary: 110,000 - 140,000 USD (Range for US employees)

  • Token allocation: 30,000 - 40,000 ORCA over 4 years (Range for US employees)

  • Home office stipend.

  • Wellness stipend.

  • Option to work remotely or from Orca’s office in New York City.

  • Paid subscriptions to GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other tools that make you more productive.

  • Unlimited vacation days and sick days.

Our Hiring Process:

We like to be transparent and efficient. We move fast, and this process will be short and intense. We believe this process gives candidates the best experience in getting decisions quickly instead of long, drawn out interview rounds that last weeks.

Initial Screen (30 min)
This is an opportunity for us to better understand your experience and knowledge of Solana and DeFi and an opportunity for you to learn more about the role and the company.

Hiring Manager Interview (60 min)

Raph (Head of Product Insights & Hiring Manager) will do a deep dive on the product and role.
Panel Interviews
This round will be divided into two parts.

The first part will consist of three back-to-back open-ended interviews, all scheduled for the same day. You will meet with Matias (Head of Product Management, 45 minutes), Will (Head of Engineering, 30 minutes), and Isaac (COO, 30 minutes).

The second part will be a whiteboard exercise conducted with Raph and Matias (60min).
