As Product Designer, you’ll support the U.S. Army's AIE Recruiting Platform, a mission-focused digital ecosystem that modernizes recruiting operations through Salesforce technologies, human-centered design, process automation, data-driven insights, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Salesforce Product Designer will work closely with Army stakeholders, product managers, recruiters, business analysts, developers, and end users to design intuitive, scalable, and impactful user experiences that improve recruiting effectiveness and operational efficiency. This role requires creativity, innovation, and the ability to apply design thinking methodologies to solve complex business challenges within a Salesforce environment.

What you’ll do:
- Design user-centered experiences for Salesforce-based recruiting applications and workflows.
- Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to understand user needs and business objectives.
- Develop journey maps, process flows, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Translate complex recruiting and business requirements into intuitive user experiences and streamlined workflows.
- Collaborate with Product Leads, Salesforce Developers, Business Analysts, and Army stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and experience requirements that support Agile development activities.
- Evaluate existing platform capabilities and identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, and overall user satisfaction.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and design technologies to accelerate design activities, generate concepts, improve workflows, and enhance user experiences.
- Partner with technical teams to design AI-driven user experiences utilizing Salesforce Einstein, Agentforce, automation, predictive analytics, and other emerging technologies.
- Produce and maintain design systems, component libraries, style guides, and interface standards.
- Conduct usability testing, analyze user feedback, and recommend product improvements.
- Create visualizations and design artifacts that effectively communicate concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure compliance with Army, DoD, accessibility, and security requirements.
- Present recommendations and design solutions to program leadership and stakeholders.
- Contribute to program deliverables, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field plus one full academic year of graduate education in a specialized field; OR
- Bachelor's degree in a specialized field plus two (2) years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor's degree in any field with a minimum of three (3) years of specialized experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
- Experience designing user experiences, user interfaces, workflows, or digital products for enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of human-centered design, design thinking, and user research methodologies.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, mockups, process flows, and design documentation.
- Familiarity with Salesforce platform capabilities and user experience considerations within Salesforce environments.
- Experience gathering and translating customer requirements into actionable design solutions.
- Ability to solve complex business challenges through innovative design approaches.
- Experience collaborating within Agile teams and supporting iterative product development.
- Understanding of accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to support research, content generation, design prototyping, workflow optimization, or user experience improvements.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, including Einstein, Agentforce, or similar technologies, preferred.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
- Ability to operate independently, develop innovative methodologies, and present effective solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated attention to detail while balancing mission priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
SALARY RANGE: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00
The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
