Work with Product Leads, Design, and Test Engineering to cultivate Design-for-Test (DFT) and Micron Component & Module Test flow philosophy, with Yield, Quality and Product Engineering to root-cause and solve technical problems to improve Micron product quality, with Process Engineering to drive process improvement. Validate device performance in order to drive guidance. Define and debug test patterns and product issues and aid other specialists in product characterization. Understand the details of general device functionality specific to semiconductor memory products, as well as schematics and signal integrity. Work with Test Manufacturing, Product Engineering and Design Engineering to provide test guidance to improve product quality and yield along with outlining plans and priorities. Provide ideas for new DFT and Architectures to support enhanced test capability to add in future quality, yield, and test time improvements. Debug and identify root causes for failures using data, electrical, and physical analysis techniques. Modify existing testing strategies to improve quality and enhance yield. Facilitate test time improvements through flow and pattern optimization. Lead the team in finding solutions for an array of different technical challenges that arise.
Employer will accept a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field. Position requires education or experience in:
1. DRAM architecture and functionality;
2. Circuit level simulation and debug;
3. Shell Scripts, including Perl, Unix, Batch, or Python;
4. Working on a tester and using lab equipment;
5. Analyzing data to make informed decisions, including interpreting data from various sources, including test results, production metrics, and customer feedback.
