DeepHealth is seeking a Product Leader to shape the next generation of PACS and diagnostic viewing within its Diagnostic Suite. This leader will define how radiologists access, review, compare, and interpret imaging studies, while enabling healthcare organizations to manage imaging reliably across sites and care settings.

The role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on expertise in radiology workflows. You will own the PACS and Viewer product direction, translate clinical needs into differentiated capabilities, and guide execution from discovery through launch and adoption. Success will be measured by an exceptional reading experience, dependable imaging operations, customer adoption, and sustainable business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set product direction. Establish a compelling vision and prioritized roadmap for PACS and Viewer, balancing clinical value, market differentiation, platform modernization, and commercial objectives.

  • Own the radiologist experience. Lead product discovery with radiologists across specialties. Translate observations of real reading workflows into intuitive navigation, fewer interruptions, and efficient access to relevant images and clinical information.

  • Advance diagnostic viewing. Define capabilities for hanging protocols, multi-monitor layouts, series navigation, longitudinal comparison, prior relevance, measurements, annotations, and modality-specific reading tools. Shape integration with advanced visualization and subspecialty applications.

  • Lead PACS capabilities. Set priorities for image ingestion, routing, storage, retrieval, reconciliation, sharing, and lifecycle management. Address the operational needs of PACS administrators, imaging informatics teams, and enterprise customers.

  • Deliver a connected diagnostic workspace. Partner with worklist, reporting, and AI product leaders to maintain patient and study context across applications, reduce duplicate actions, and integrate findings and measurements into the reading workflow.

  • Guide cloud adoption and interoperability. Define customer requirements for cloud and hybrid deployments, legacy PACS coexistence, archive migration, and access to historical studies. Prioritize reliable connectivity with modalities, RIS, EHR, and third-party imaging systems.

  • Make performance a product priority. Establish measurable expectations for time to first image, series navigation, prior availability, large-study responsiveness, and service reliability across representative customer environments.

  • Turn strategy into delivery. Maintain clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and release priorities. Resolve scope trade-offs with engineering and design, and coordinate clinical validation, pilot feedback, launch readiness, and post-release improvements.

  • Build the business. Develop investment proposals and contribute to pricing, packaging, competitive positioning, and sales enablement. Evaluate opportunities using customer value, revenue potential, delivery effort, and cost to serve.

  • Lead across teams. Align internal teams and technology partners around product outcomes. Mentor product managers and product owners, strengthen discovery practices, and communicate decisions clearly to customers and executives.

  • Measure impact. Track adoption, user satisfaction, workflow efficiency, support burden, retention, and product economics. Use evidence to refine priorities and address gaps.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and requirements of the position described above. Other functions may be assigned and management retains the right to add or change duties at any time.

  • Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, health informatics, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • At least 10 years of relevant healthcare technology experience, including 7 years in product management and significant responsibility for PACS or diagnostic viewer products.

  • Demonstrated success bringing commercial imaging software to market and improving products used in daily clinical practice.

  • Deep understanding of radiologist reading workflows, multi-modality imaging, prior comparison, and enterprise PACS operations.

  • Ability to evaluate diagnostic viewer usability and performance with clinicians and translate findings into actionable product decisions.

  • Practical knowledge of imaging interoperability, including DICOM, DICOMweb, HL7, FHIR, and relevant IHE workflows.

  • Experience with cloud or hybrid imaging products, enterprise integrations, and complex customer deployments.

  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to make disciplined investment and prioritization decisions.

  • Experience leading distributed, cross-functional teams and influencing senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience modernizing an established PACS or migrating customers to a cloud-based imaging platform.

  • Familiarity with advanced visualization, mammography and tomosynthesis, or other demanding subspecialty workflows.

  • Experience integrating AI results, structured imaging data, and reporting tools into diagnostic applications.

  • Experience managing or mentoring product teams.

  • Familiarity with medical-device product development, clinical validation, usability engineering, and quality management processes.

Quality Standards

  • Incorporate patient safety, diagnostic integrity, privacy, and security into product decisions.

  • Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams on intended use, risk controls, requirements traceability, and release evidence.

  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate product limitations, dependencies, and risks promptly.

  • Demonstrate accountability, respectful collaboration, and adherence to company policies.

  • Communicates, cooperates, and consistently functions professionally and harmoniously with all levels of supervision, co-workers, visitors, and vendors.

  • Demonstrates initiative, personal awareness, professionalism and integrity, and exercises confidentiality in all areas of performance.

  • Follows all local, regional and country laws concerning employment.

  • Follows all DeepHealth policies and procedures.

  • Follows data privacy, compliance, safety and confidentiality standards at all times.

  • Practices universal safety precautions.

  • Promotes good public relations on the phone and in person.

  • Adapts and is willing to learn new tasks, methods, and systems.

  • Reports to work regularly as scheduled; consistently punctual with respect to working hours, meal and rest breaks, and maintains satisfactory personal attendance in accordance with DeepHealth guidelines.
